Mānuka Flower Studs, Sterling Silver

$150.00

Cute Mānuka earrings cleverly cast in sterling silver with an oxidised effect, finished with sterling silver posts.

The Mānuka (Tea-tree) is a very precious flowering native New Zealand tree. It has the most beautiful clusters of sweet little flowers in either a deep crimson red or delicate pinky white. The reason for Mānuka’s importance is derived from the well proven medicinal properties of the Mānuka honey that comes from these trees.

Tania’s earrings depict a beautifully rounded Mānuka flower. The magic is in the secret of this perfectly identifiable flower which show this is no ordinary piece but one that links to nowhere else on earth except here in Aotearoa.

Like many of Tania Mallow's other pieces these earrings are created with comfort and quality at the forefront. These earrings are enhanced by a skillful oxidization technique which brings the carved lines to life.

Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver. The alloy composition results in a metal that is very durable and long lasting. Sterling silver is easily polished using a polishing cloth. Tania Mallow jewellery is certified sterling silver.
